The Lebanese healthcare system is under a great deal of pressure, and Ajialouna’s recent medical relief campaign helped to ease that pressure. After launching its medical relief fundraiser on the YALLAGIVE platform in January 2021, Ajialouna has received generous donations from around the world. With regional and local partner support, Ajialouna has been able to secure and distribute essential medical supplies, PPEs, and medical equipment like oxygen concentrators and non-invasive ventilators to healthcare facilities across Lebanon.

Since the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in the beginning of 2020, Ajialouna has been committed to supporting collective efforts to contain the transmission of the virus and respond to the unfolding health crisis, in order avoid an overstressing of the health system.  

Ajialouna’s COVID-19 support to several hospitals and health-oriented organizations included: 

• 106 Oxygen ventilators, 
• 800 Nebulizers,  

• 2,610 disposable coveralls,  
• 1,385 medical googles,  
• 3,000 packs of medical shoes’ covers,  
• 6,616 box of latex cloves,  
• 717,350 medical masks,  

• 400 Oximeters,  
• 57,000 disposable masks,  
• 1,000 face shields,  
• 12 sterilizing machine,  
• 32 gallons of sterilizing solution,  

• 37, 890 sanitizers and wet wipes,  
• 6,694 hygiene kit.
